Food at the heart of the DLR

Challenge

A map was required to show that global ingredients are only a few stops away on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR).

Solution

I was provided a long list of council-derived list of shops, supermarkets, and markets. I then visited all of these for reference, and sketches, and added a few of my local favourites, before I whittled these down to a 29 to represent a balanced mix of global cuisines. I created a key, and illustrated the shops, and added a directory for the reverse of the folding map.
